\nThe show begins with an opening number by the orchestra, My Sugar Takes Me with a Grain of Salt. George and Gracie talk with each other, and the cast about presents to give for Christmas.\n\xa0\nGracie gets a phone call, and chats with her mom.\n\xa0\nTony Martin talks with Gracie about his films, and the love scenes he is in. At this time, Tony was married to Alice Faye. Tony sings, Lazy River.\nGeorge and Gracie talk about their upcoming plans for Christmas. They recruit Tony into helping out with their Christmas play, based on the Christmas Carol. It starts right after Tony sings, Where Have You Been All My Life. Followed by an instrumental rumba.\n\xa0\nAs George plays Scrooge, the mean old miser of the airways, he is to be visited by the ghosts of radio. He has to face up to stealing all the jokes from the other radio comedians.
