Some children are unable to translate their thoughts into audible words, creating the need for an alternative means of communication. Dr. Ing.\xa0Owen Casha\xa0from the University of Malta and Dr May Agius from the Access to Communication and Technology Unit (ACTU) supervised a student who built a mobile app that would allow children with communication impairments to communicate in Maltese.
