b'It\'s the\\xa0episode before\\xa0Halloween, so of course we have to cover one more "scary" game. And I can\'t\\xa0think of a better option than one of the OG scary games, and\\xa0honestly, just one of the best\\xa0games on the NES altogether: Castlevania.\\xa0\\n\\xa0\\nThis bad boy has been near the top of the "most requested" list for years now, but the issue was that I just didn\'t play a ton of it growing up. I used to rent it sometimes, but the Medusa heads and stairs gave me nightmares and I never went back. So I spent 3 days just binging the game in preparation of this podcast, and we actually recorded it minutes after I beat the game on stream (and I was still pretty riled up).\\xa0\\n\\xa0\\nMy boy Mark McCue is my guest this week (he spent a large chink of this past week playing Castlevania to get ready for\\xa0this\\xa0episode as well), and we had a great time talking about stupid stairs, evil Medusa heads, a certain fight against a certain dead guy, and most importantly, about why Castlevania is an\\xa0all-time classic.\\n\\xa0\\nAnd before we fall through some stairs, I scrape together another edition of the \'Remember The Game?
