The Godfather is an Italian mob movie set in the 40s that touches on issues such as Italian immigrants and how they adjusted to life in America, what life is like in organized crime,  and how far you will go for family, even when you’ve already gone to the ends of the Earth and back. The original novel was written by a man named Mario Puzo.
