It's Black History Month so it's time to talk about all the kerfuffle going on regarding Critical Race Theory (CRT). This concept has been around for more than 50 years in advanced academic and law circles only. It wasn't until the publication of the award-winning "1619 Project" that CRT came to be talked about by one of our major political parties, and not in a good or constructive way. Then the fear mongering and book banning started along with the enactment of new state laws curtailing most dialogue about race in a majority of state school systems in the U.S. Mama B. is critical of the CRT critics and new boogeyman they created. She will try to set the record straight about what's really going on.
