Set up by eager but wholly inexperienced young music fans, Prague\u2019s Radio 1 was the first non-state station in Czechoslovakia after the fall of communism. Decades later, the story of the station \u2013 which is still going strong \u2013 is the subject of a colourful new book, Radio 1: Life in the Ether, by Jana Kom\xe1nkov\xe1, one of its longest serving DJs. We spoke on the eve of its publication.
