Hey Everyone,\n\nAngela Bowen here, the host of Together, We're Gonna Find Our Way: An Unofficial Silver Spoons Podcast.\n\nToday, I covered S5E10: The Triangle, which aired on November 17, 1986.\n\nIn this episode a triangle ensues when Rick falls for his friend Brad's girlfriend, then must take her to a concert when Brad gets grounded.\n\nI thought this episode was ok as far as Rick swooping in and sneaking around with Brad's girlfriend behind his back and I hated that when Rick confessed to Brad that he was trying to justify his actions and making excuses, luckily for Brad the jokes on Rick. I enjoyed Edward going back to college taking an Classic English Literature class and leaving no time for intimacy with Kate because he has to read like 10 classic novels in the span of a week.\n\nand\n\nS5E11: Kate Lassos A Longhorn, which aired on November 24, 1986.\n\nIn this episode Rick agrees to take care of a friend's boa constrictor for the night, but it happens to fall on the same evening as Kate's dinner with a toy dealer who can't stand women in business.\n\nI really liked this episode, I think Kate handled herself very well with the sexiest businessman and I enjoyed seeing Marie the housekeeper again. I thought the side plot with the Rick and the boa constrictor was hilarious.\n\nJoin me next week when I cover S5E12: Edward Creates A Monster, which aired on January 26, 1987.\n\nIn this episode after going out to a comedy club as a reward for his success in school, Rick is invited to join a comedy class. But his homework is no joke, since he's cutting up in class as well as at home, and thinking of foregoing college.\n\nand\n\nS5E13: Rumors Are Flying, which aired on February 2, 1987.\n\nIn this episode Rick has a girl from school over to study, but they fall asleep in his room.
