Happy Monday Everyone,\n\nAngela Bowen here, the host of Together, We're Gonna Find Our Way: An Unofficial Silver Spoons Podcast.\n\nToday I'm covering the 2 Parter S3E3 and S3E4: Growing Up Parts 1 and 2 which aired on September 30, 1984 and October 7, 1984.\n\nIn Part 1 \n\nEdward sets up a curfew that Rick ignores.\n\nIn Part 2\n\nEdward sets up a curfew that Rick ignores.\n\nAlso I noticed in this episode that Rick has a couple shirtless scenes, I'm guessing that was for the teen girls in hopes that Ricky Schroder would make it into the teeny bopper magazines and help boost the ratings of the show in the teen department, especially since he's a teenager now and in high school, so so they'll have him do things like break curfew and runaway from home, going on dates with girls, arguments with parents, experiences that some teens can relate too.\n\nI really think Rick is being a little bit of a drama queen in this episode, even Kate calls him on it, saying he's been over emotional. He runs away from home after he breaks curfew and tells his dad. "You don't trust me, you don't respect me and you don't care about me"\n\nBlame it on the raging teen hormones, would be my answer to this, bu then again we're all been there, right? Who of us hasn't argued with their parents over something being unfair?\n\nJoin me next week for a meh type of episode, there seem to be a bit of those going forward in the show kind of like boring filler episodes. \n\nS3E6: I Won't Dance,(Sounds Like An Alfonso Episode,am I right?)\nwhich aired on November 4, 1984.\n\nWrong, it's an episode about Rick setting up his grandfather with his teacher?\n\nWTH?\n\nI wish I were joking. Oh boy, do I wish I were joking, but then again who knows, maybe I'll be surprised and actually like it.\n\nDoubtful, very doubtful.\n\nHave a great start to the week everyone!\n\nTo Email The Podcast Go To:\n\nsilverspoons@gmail.com
