Happy Friday Everyone!\n\nAngela Bowen here, the host of Together, We're Gonna Find Our Way: An Unofficial Silver Spoons Podcast.\n\nI return to the Silver Spoons Podcast and cover one of the most unimpressive episodes of Silver Spoons I\u2019ve seen so far.\n\nThis is what I\u2019d like to call a filler episode.\n\nI get that we need something funny and maybe a little goofy after last episode\u2019s seriousness with Edward in the hospital, but did it have to be so slap stick?\n\nOf course I\u2019m talking about S2E5: Mr. President, which aired on November 19, 1983.\n\nIn this episode after being elected student body president, Ricky has to deal with a rival school's vandalism, and daydreams that he is the President of the United States.\n\nAlso in this episode we get in Ricky\u2019s fantasy Edward in a fat suit and super fake mustache portraying a Russian Ambassador Yuri with a horrible, possibly offensive by 2019 standards Russian accent, Kate as Miss Winters in a leotard and President Ricky shames Chief Of Staff Derek for treating women as sex objects.\n\nI wanted to see an episode with Ricky running for class president. That would have been better than this.\n\nJoin me next week for a hopefully better episode S2E6: Driver Ed, which aired on November 16, 1983.\n\nIn this episode when Edward and Kate go out of town, Grandfather Stratton agrees to teach Ricky how to drive, but the lesson takes a wrong turn.\n\nHave a great weekend everyone and Ill be back next week!
