Happy Saturday Night Everyone!\n\nAngela Bowen here, the host of Together, We're Gonna Find Our Way: An Unofficial Silver Spoons Podcast.\n\nToday I\u2019m covering S2E12: The World\u2019s Greatest Father\n\nAirdate: January 21, 1984\n\nIn this episode J.T.'s dad gets angry when his son agrees with Rick that Edward is the world's greatest father because of the time they spend together, so Edward gives Rick a lesson in appreciating the advantages he has.\n\nAlso in this episode I talk about the first 3 American VHS releases, Willy Wonka\u2019s \u201cCheer Up Charlie\u201d Song, my most valuable Funko Pop, April Snow Storms in Michigan, Full House and other things.\n\nThis was J.T. Martin (Bobby Fite)\u2019s last appearance on Silver Spoons.\n\nI learned from this episode Edward gets a parental wake up call or dose of reality from J.T\u2019s father who works two jobs and has three kids (possibly a widower, hey this could be like a early Full House Scenerio with the genders swapped), some father\u2019s don\u2019t get to work from home and spend all their time with their kids.\n\nI understand how J.T. telling his dad how great Ricky\u2019s father is, feels like a kick in the teeth to his Dad because of how much he sacrifices just to give his kids the basics.\n\nJoin me next week as I cover S2E13: I Want To Be Alone, which aired on January 28, 1984.\n\nIn this episode Edward has arranged a mountain cabin for a relaxing family retreat with Ricky and Kate.
