Happy Sunday Punky Peeps!\n\nAngela Bowen here, the host of Punky Power: An Unofficial Punky Brewster Podcast.\n\nToday I'm covering S4E21: What\u2019s Your Sign?, which aired on May 26, 1988.\n\nIn this episode Punky befriends a deaf girl. I really enjoyed this episode because it was a teachable moment from Punky. We learn that not everyone's the same and some people out there with disabilities have trouble fitting in. Punky shows us that all it takes is one person to like you for who you are and to see past your disability.\n\nMaria taught Punky sign language which enticed the other girls to want to learn as well and hopefully they all became friends.
