Hi Everyone, in this episode of Punky Power: An Unofficial Punky Brewster Podcast I review Season 1 Episode 2 Punky Finds A Home Part 2 which aired on September 23, 1984. This is the episode where Punky and Henry face the possibility of being separated when social worker Randi comes to visit and decides to take Punky to Fenster Hall, a group home until her mother can be found. Punky bids a tearful goodbye to both Henry and her puppy Brandon as she accompanies Randi. During her stay at Fenster Hall Punky goes toe to toe with her new roommate, a tough girl named Lisa, but in the end wins her and her other roommate shy little Mary over and they cook up a plan to bust Punky out of Fenster to get back to Henry. Hijinks ensue as Punky and her new friends to try to sneak Punky out past Fenster's hall monitor Tyler. Back at the apartment Randi visits Henry to tell him about Punky's upcoming court hearing to decide where Punky will be placed in terms of long term care. Unfortunately, Randi tells Henry she feels he is not a likely candidate for Punky. Also a new character is introduced, maintenance guy Eddie, a simple man played by Eddie Deezen. Will Punky and Henry find their way back to each other? We'll have to see.
