Conversation with: Mindy Kaling and Nancy Meyers

Mindy Kaling, who skyrocketed to fame on\xa0The Office, is an Emmy-nominated writer and producer. She created and starred in the popular romantic comedy\xa0The Mindy Project, which ran for six seasons on FOX before being picked up by Hulu for its final seasons. Kaling\u2019s much-anticipated comedy\xa0Late Night, starring Oscar\xae winner Emma Thompson, will be hitting theaters nationwide on June 7.

Mindy makes her first appearance at the Produced By Conference, alongside revered director and producer Nancy Meyers. For decades, Myers has been ahead of the curve when chronicling social trends and relationships, particularly when it comes to telling stories from a female point of view. She\u2019s consistently delivered such hit films as\xa0It\u2019s Complicated,\xa0Something\u2019s Gotta Give,\xa0What Women Want\xa0and\xa0The Intern. The blockbusters Myers has helmed have grossed more than $1 billion worldwide, a figure on par with the most popular superhero movies.
