Q&A: Facials, Microneedling, and Botox

Published: Sept. 27, 2017, 7:30 a.m.

In general the less chemicals you are exposing yourself to the less you are exposing your baby to.  When you are talking about chemical exposure, the first trimester is thought of as the most sensitive period, as this is when the chances of miscarriage are highest. On the safe side you could just avoid everything during pregnancy, which I know is not realistic. You can weight the risks and benefits of getting a procedure done during our pregnancy and decide if it is worth having the procedure done or if you should hold off until after you have your baby. This episode answers a listener question about whether it is safe to get facials, microneedling, and botox during pregnancy.
