Published: July 26, 2017, 7:30 a.m.

Your uterus expands throughout your pregnancy. In the beginning it is hidden behind your pelvic bone, which is why it takes some time for you to start showing. As your uterus grows it becomes a lot more obvious that you are pregnant and the further along you are the bigger your belly gets. Every woman is different, we come in all shapes and sizes, and no two women will carry their pregnant belly in the exact same way. There are a lot of different variable that can influence how your belly sits or appears during your pregnancy. This episode answers a listener question about carrying low, the reasons behind this, and the potential risks.
