He knows our hidden secrets, our inconsistencies, our wants and our needs. He knows everything ... and He still loves us! The fact that God knows everything doesn't diminish the value of prayer, it heightens it. We can draw near to Him with absolute confidence that he accepts and loves us because He already knows everything!
