To appreciate the good news of God\u2019s Gospel we need to understand man\u2019s need. The apostle Paul writes, \u201cYou were (spiritually) dead in your trespasses and sins\u201d (Eph 2:1). He goes on to say, \u201cremember that you were at that time separated from Christ \u2026 having no hope and without God in the world\u201d (v 12). Those are powerful words: dead \u2026 separated \u2026 no hope \u2026 without God. There was nothing we could do to remedy our situation. Man\u2019s need is total, not partial.
