The Pharisee and the Tax Collector

Published: Oct. 30, 2023, midnight

We can only receive God\u2019s salvation in humility. There is no other way. Humbling ourselves before God can feel like spiritual open-heart surgery, but the result is righteousness and peace! Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy (Proverbs 28:13). The Pharisee justifies himself and remains in his sin. The tax collector humbles himself and receives God\u2019s mercy. Which are you?

Take Home Message: Before we can be saved, we must first admit that we cannot save ourselves.
