\xa0There was a lot of confusion in the city of Corinth when it came to men, women, and how they relate to each other, and this confusion had crept into the Corinthian church. Paul, by the power of the Holy Spirit, brings clarity to the situation. This clarity includes timeless truths for us today on these same issues.

\xa0Timeless Truths from 1 Corinthians 11:2-16

  1. We submit to God\u2019s order because Jesus Christ submitted to God\u2019s order (v. 2-3).
  2. God\u2019s order includes distinctions (v. 4-10).
  3. God\u2019s order includes dependence (v. 11-12).
  4. God has graciously given order to protect us from chaos (v. 13-16).
