Movement is a healthy part of everyone's life, but for those with autism, Movement Therapy can have profound effects.\n\n\n\t\xa0\n\n\n\tJoanne Lara has dedicated her life\u2019s work to improving the lives of individuals with autism through movement and music. She\u2019s also a core adjunct professor at National University in LA, California, and helped design the Autism Certificate. Her advocacy has led to founding the nonprofit organization Autism Movement Therapy\xae, the recipient of three Autism Speaks grants, home based in Los Angeles, California.\xa0\n\n\n\t\xa0\n\n\n\tJoanne is also a member of Hillary Clinton\u2019s Disability Employment Task Force Team.\xa0She\u2019s the author of \u201cAutism Movement Therapy Method: Waking Up the Brain!\u201d with Keri Bowers.
