2 KINGS \n15Elisha said, \u201cGet a bow and some arrows,\u201d and he did so. 16\u201cTake the bow in your hands,\u201d he said to the king of Israel. When he had taken it, Elisha put his hands on the king\u2019s hands.\n17\u201cOpen the east window,\u201d he said, and he opened it. \u201cShoot!\u201d Elisha said, and he shot. \u201cThe Lord\u2019s arrow of victory, the arrow of victory over Aram!\u201d Elisha declared. \u201cYou will completely destroy the Arameans at Aphek.\u201d\n18Then he said, \u201cTake the arrows,\u201d and the king took them. Elisha told him, \u201cStrike the ground.\u201d He struck it three times and stopped. 19The man of God was angry with him and said, \u201cYou should have struck the ground five or six times; then you would have defeated Aram and completely destroyed it.
