COME LET US RETURN TO THE LORD. HOSEA 6. PORTALSGATE PROPHETIC PRAYER SCHOOL. SERIES 266.

This is one of the most critical seasons in human history that calls for the right perspective; many things are currently happening around the world that many seem not to have an understanding regarding how to respond accordingly. Often time, we face the consequence of decisions and indecisions of the past that impacts the current condition of things, and in situations like this, we need sound, prophetic guidance to help us make sense things.

Prophet Hosea called the attention of the people to the reason they incurred the judgment of God according to Hosea 6:1-2. This is an important facet of the mandate of the prophetic ministry to proclaim this is that to the people; Prophet’s point the nations to why things are happening the way they are so they can turn in repentance.

God’s judgment is a part of his redemptive and restorative program. We are seeing the judgment of God being carried out in our day that requires the clear, precise interpretation so, as to call the people back to God in repentance least they remain in the place of judgment. It is the responsibility of the prophet’s ministry to bring clarity and direction to whatever is happening within the society, particularly, when it deals with judgment. To pray effectively, we need sight and insight into the prophetic speakings and directions of the Lord regarding the circumstances of our situation, so we don’t get to be taken advantage of by the enemy.

Hosea 6:1-2

“Come, let us return to the Lord. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds. After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence.
