I started with nothing but my phone back in 2014 and within a month I had a New York Times best selling author ask to be a guest on my show. Proves the music the intro, the polish means nothing if there\u2019s nothing but fluff in the middle.\xa0

Sometimes showing up is the ONLY insurance you need.\xa0 You don't have to move mountains ... it doesn't have to be THE BEST every time.\xa0

The\xa0 first person who decided to record into a microphone and figured out how to put out to the world was creating a Wild West. That was not that long ago. About a decade ... at most 15 years ago. Seriously. Your podcast. YOUR way.\xa0

When I get behind the microphone I ask myself: \u201cwhat's the solution that allows me to show up in a way that helps me to cherish my listeners, my clients, make myself a better coach ... and honor this relationship I have with my podcast?\u201d

There's gonna come a time when you're doing your podcast and you\u2019re like, \u201cugh, the honeymoon is over. It\u2019s just it's not fun, the sex isn't that great anymore and they just don't look so good to me these days.\u201d\xa0

Our pods can kinda be the same... but like any relationship it\u2019s about cultivating it, mindfully and intentionally nurturing it, and looking for fun and new ways to spice things up.\xa0

You get to create what you want with your podcast, and do it in a way that you want to. Not based on a thing someone said \u201chey this works. I\u2019ll make it a rule and tell everyone about it because I\u2019m getting 10,000 downloads.\u201d\xa0

You can\u2019t take someone\u2019s thought and get the result of 10,000 downloads if you feel like ass every time you record. Downloads mean zero if you have no engagement. Downloads don\u2019t equal money in the bank. Your belief is what puts the money in the bank.

Podcasting can be your muse \u2026 an art project ... a side gig, like playing in the sandbox. It's all yours. You get to do whatever the heck you want.\xa0
