Joey is Co-Chief Investment Officer at Pantera Capital. Prior to Pantera, he co-founded Augur, a decentralized prediction market platform and solution to the oracle problem. Joey also co-founded Eco, an app which offers a simple balance to let users spend, send, save and make money at the same time. He co-founded a crypto-focused AngelList syndicate which became one of the top fifteen by backing and was an early investor in projects like 0x and Numerai. In 2013, Joey built a point of sale system enabling Bitcoin payments with sound and Bluetooth. He is both a Thiel Fellow and an Edmund Hillary Fellow. Follow Joey on Twitter @joeykrug.
