Albert is a managing partner at Union Square Ventures and the author of the book, World After Capital. Before joining USV, he was the president of del.icio.us through the company\u2019s sale to Yahoo and an angel investor in companies including Etsy and Tumblr. Albert previously founded or co-founded several companies, including a management consulting firm and an early hosted data analytics company. He graduated from Harvard College where he studied economics and computer science before obtaining his Ph.D. in Information Technology from MIT. He writes regularly on his blog at continuations.com.
