PipemanRadio Interviews The Faim at Download Festival 2022

Published: June 23, 2022, 7:37 a.m.

On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman is speaking to Josh from The Faim live from Download Festival in the UK.

Josh talks about how incredible it is to be here at Download and performing again and how it’s a different energy to what it was like last time. He says there’s a sense of gratitude around after the pandemic and people are ready to have a good time.

Pipeman talks about the differences that he’s seen between the UK crowds and the US crowds, saying that sometimes he sees people leave before any encore, whereas Pipeman has the mindset of I’ll wait until everyone leaves and then he’ll leave

Josh talks about how excited he is to see some bands he’s never seen before at Download this year, and how he wants to experience new music and become a fan of some new bands, which is his favourite thing about festivals

Pipeman asks Josh about what their music is all about as he describes it as a reflection of themselves and that it changes as time goes on. They try to create stories and memories and experiences with their music and keep it as honest as possible.

They have a new record coming out on the 8th of July which you need to check out, and if you’re interested in seeing them live, they’ll be doing some touring around Europe and the UK, before going back to do and Australian tour back in their homeland.

You can check the guys out on all the social media platforms and streaming platforms, and you can also check out their website for all the information on tour dates and merch.
