PipemanRadio Interviews Sin of Saints at Rocklahoma 2022

Published: Sept. 13, 2022, 5:45 p.m.

On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman speaks to Sin of Saints, live from Rocklahoma.

The guys talk about how excited they are to be at Rocklahoma, as they’re a band from Oklahoma. One of the guys said they wouldn’t go to Rocklahoma until they’ve played Rocklahoma so it’s a big deal for them.

The guys talk about what their music is like without going into genre. The best way they can describe it is they’re early 90’s style with a bit of pop rock and classic rock mixed in. They say they don’t get too technical or serious, they just want to have fun and play some music.

The banter continues throughout the middle of the of the podcast as Pipeman tells them about the parties going down in the campsites where he’s sleeping. Pipeman talks about how he likes to try and make them as fun as possible as he recognises that the press interviews are the worst part of the job for many bands so he’s not going to ask them the same question they’ve been asked 50 million times before.

Pipeman tells the guys that 4 times people have told him they’ve shit themselves on stage, which leads to them talking about that infamous pee incident from Welcome to Rockville, which Pipeman had a front row view of. Pipeman jokingly asks them how they’re going to top that performance at Rocklahoma.

As a bearded man, Pipeman asks about the beard of one of the guys in the band who has dyed his beard. He just dyed it two days prior, but Pipeman’s main worry was what it would taste like when beard hair gets in your mouth.
