On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman is speaking to Sean and Julio from Nero Di Marte live from Hellfest in France.

Pipeman starts by asking about Lacuna Coil, who Pipeman interviewed previously, and if they\u2019ve ever or would ever go on tour with them. The guys say it would be cool if the opportunity came up, but they\u2019re not in the same genre.

Pipeman continues on the topic of genre by saying how when he was a teenager, metal heads were snobs and forced you into one small corner of metal. Sean adds to that by talking about the tribalistic nature of some communities and wanting to protect their identities.

Speaking about the impacts of Covid, Sean tells us they released an album right before Covid so it hit them hard, and it forced them to cancel the shows they had planned. The lockdown in Italy was particularly brutal as they were hit hard with cases of Covid in the early stages.

Carry on from that, they talk about how surreal it was to be back at a festival and seeing that many people in a tight space again, after being apart for so long. They say it\u2019s cathartic to be around so many people again.
