On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman speaks to Firstryke, live from Rocklahoma.

After a small mishap with how to pronounce the band name, Pipeman bring is back to the early 70\u2019s when Firstryke\u2019s first band name was slayer and they used to be a cover band. They then changed it to First Strike, but realised another band had that name so they settled on Firstryke.

The guys continue to talk about some of the background of the band and introduce themselves, saying they\u2019ve been playing Rocklahoma for 10 years now. They say they\u2019re one of the only bands to have played one of the three main stages for 10 years now, no including the campground stages. Two of the members have been together for 40 years.

Talking about what it\u2019s like to be playing after so many years, they say that they\u2019re old and have their medical issues but when you\u2019re on stage the adrenaline kicks in and you get excited. They say they feel 25 for 35 minutes.

The guys move on to talk about switching off after doing their trade. The same way Pipeman will finish up with interviews for the day and join the pits for whoever is playing, the guys in Firstryke will too.
