On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman speaks to JJ from Discharge live from the Bloodstock Festival in Derbyshire, UK.

Pipeman starts by talking about how he managed to see Discharge for the first time at Hellfest after years of being a fan, and saying how their pit was the most brutal of any he experienced in France. JJ says they never even noticed the mosh!

JJ talks about how he personally got into Discharge. He was part of a band called Wasted Live who did a support slot with Discharge. After keeping in touch, he ended up playing in Broken Bones which had a lot of the guys from Discharge in it, which eventually ended with him joining the band.

The guys talk about the mixing of the genres these days, especially with punk and metal who wouldn\u2019t be able to mix from tithe past. JJ thinks the mixing is awesome and at the end of the day, it\u2019s just a label and it shouldn\u2019t matter what it\u2019s called.

Discharge don\u2019t have a plan for after Bloodstock but JJ expresses his excitement to see some bands which he usually wouldn\u2019t be able to see without paying \xa3200 for a ticket! JJ says he wants to see Guar but they\u2019re playing at the same time as Discharge unfortunately, but there are still a lot of good bands out there to catch and a lot of his friends playing too.
