Next, we tackle the critical issue of melanoma, a highly aggressive skin cancer that accounts for 75% of all skin cancer-related deaths. Unfortunately, it\u2019s often detected later in people with darker skin tones, leading to severe outcomes. I speak with Dr. Tina J. Hieken, a surgical oncologist and researcher at the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center, about her study on the risks for Communities\xa0of color.\xa0
