It’s the unofficial end of summer and parents and kids are gearing up for the first day of school. I must give a special shout out to the men who are part of the FACT Program – Fathers and Children together at SCI Phoenix. I was so fortunate to be a part of their back to school celebration that brought their kids and moms to the facility for a delicious lunch and school supplies. This is a program that truly reinforces the bonds between fathers living behind the walls and their children.
Along with the fine men who run the program we have to acknowledge members of the external team Connie Grier and Lori Goins.
Today we talk with Nikki Bagby from United Health Care, P. Michael of Barbers Who Care and Anthony Henderson from 17 Days of Fashion about an event that will offer community resources, dental Screening and this is very exciting – free cuts from Philadelphia Celebrity Barbers.
