Healthcare worker Michelle says she was denied a COVID-19 test, twice, despite presenting with flu-like symptoms and recently treating patients who had returned from overseas with similar symptoms. Michelle said she started feeling unwell on Tuesday and hasn't returned to work since to avoid spreading her infection.  Michelle was first denied a test because she didn't meet the criteria, but was denied a second time, even after the Health department's testing guidelines were expanded to include any healthcare workers with flu-like symptoms.
