Eric is a husband, father, entrepreneur, and a former Navy Seal with nearly 12 years of service, on various Teams including the highly revered Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DevGru). Over the course of his career, he\\u2019s deployed numerous times to hot spots around the world including Iraq and Afghanistan. While on active duty, he climbed El Capitan and 2 of the 7 Summits: Denali and Aconcagua. Now, Eric works as the COO of Defy, a performance beverage company with nationwide distribution in over 11,000 locations.\\n\\xa0\\nEric\\u2019s story begins on a Hog Farm in Sac City, Iowa. He reflects on his upbringing on the farm and the vital lessons that he learned from observing his parents while working long hours at a young age. Eric talks about his stint as a high school and junior college football player. Then, at some point he joined the Navy and became a SEAL, because someone bet him that he wouldn\\u2019t do it. Is BUD/S more of a test of will than a test of strength? How does it feel to go through BUD/S while passing a kidney stone?
