Despite a strong, strong run by\xa0Avengers: Infinity War, it seemed inevitable that\xa0Deadpool 2\xa0would jump to the top of the box office in its opening weekend. This was, after all, a sequel to one of the most surprising summer hits of the last few years. But success brings with it higher expectations, and nobody was really sure if\xa0Deadpool 2 could maintain the momentum of its predecessor, least of all our podcast stars.
