In preparation for the release of Soul on Disney+, Arun and Patricia decide to do a spinoff of PixMix called PixMinis where they look back on a Pixar short every day until December 25th.   

In this episode, they look back on the 2006 Pixar short Mater and the Ghostlight based on the film Cars and can be seen as a bonus feature on the DVD. The plot is about Mater going around Radiator Springs scaring everyone until the Sheriff tells Mater an urban legend about the Ghostlight. Mater doesn't believe in the legend until a bright blue light pops up behind him and chases him.  This is the starting point of numerous Cars shorts that would later develop into a miniseries on the Disney Channel and Disney Junior. Arun and Patricia never liked the Cars franchise, but will this short change their minds on it? Listen and find out.
