In this episode of Casual Chats, Patricia and special guests Cartoonish Weeb, Rebecca, and Michael Hilliger discuss about the 2002 Nickelodeon animated series ChalkZone. The show is about a 10-year-old boy named Rudy Tabootie discovering a world made of chalk named ChalkZone after writing notes on a chalkboard when his teacher believes that he drew a cartoonish version of the school bully Reggie Bullnerd. Together with his best friend Penny Sanchez and his chalk drawing named Snap, they explore the vast world of ChalkZone and defeat various villains from the advanced technology obsessed robots, the Craniacs, to Scrawl, a drawing who believes that Rudy drew to make him look ugly on purpose.

When the show premiered, it was the highest viewed premiere at the time. It was praised for its creativity, solid characters, and catchy and memorable music. However, it became overshadowed with other Nicktoons at the time such as SpongeBob SquarePants, The Fairly OddParents, and The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. Nickelodeon even mistreated the show by withholding episodes from airing until years later. Over a decade later, it became a cult classic from artists and animators on social media calling it an influence and a childhood favorite. They talk about their introductions to the show, their favorite episodes, favorite characters, favorite songs, and the legacy of the show.
