In this episode of In Search of the Crystal Skull, 90s Christmas Movie Month concludes with a lookback at the 1994 Walt Disney live action film The Santa Clause. A toy businessman named Scott Calvin has to watch over his young son Charlie around Christmas Eve while his ex wife and her husband head out. The night goes uneventful until Scott and Charlie see a man fall from their roof and disappear leaving nothing but his suit and sleigh with reindeer. Scott puts on the suit and delivers all the toys to the children and heads to the North Pole learning from the head elf Bernard that he's the new Santa Claus. Over the course of a year, Scott slowly transforms into Santa and Charlie convinces his mom and stepdad that his dad is Santa, but they don't believe him. Even Scott doesn't believe that he's Santa until his mannerisms, body, and hair changes.
