After almost two years, DreamMachine is back! In this episode, Arun and Patricia discuss about the 2020 DreamWorks animated film The Croods: A New Age, the sequel to the 2013 film The Croods. The Crood family featuring Grug, Ugga, Eep, Thunk, Sandy, Gran, and Guy are still looking for a place to call home. They then find a paradise filled with food, water, and a large wall of protection that are inhabited by a family called the Bettermans consisting of Phil, Hope, and Dawn. A lot of tension is built up between the Croods and the Bettermans as the Croods are not familiar with domesticated life and the Bettermans prefer for them to go away. In the mix of the problems, Grug is dealing with the fact that Eep and Guy may be going away from the pack to start their own, Phil and Hope wanting Guy to date Dawn, and Phil hiding a secret involving with no one eating bananas. Will all the issues get resolved? \xa0\xa0\nWhen the film premiered, it made $215 million dollars on a $65 million budget with critics giving it mixed to positive reviews saying that it was a slight improvement over the first film, but pretty forgettable with a predictable story, generic characters, and inconsistently funny jokes.
