In this episode of DreamMachine, Patricia and Arun discuss about the 2015 DreamWorks animated film Home, which is based on the 2007 children's book The True Meaning of Smekday by Adam Rex. The movie is about a species of aliens called the Boov invading the planet Earth after being chased by another group of aliens called the Gorg. After conquering Earth, the Boov relocate all of humanity to other locations to make themselves at home. One of the Boovs named Oh finds a girl named Tip who was separated from her mother and wishes to go to Australia to reunite with her. Will they find her mother in time? Will Oh and Tip have a strong friendship despite being enemies?
\nWhen the movie premiered, it made over $386 million dollars out of a $135 million dollar budget, but had mixed to negative reviews from critics and viewers. It also has an animated series on Netflix called Home: The Adventures of Tip and Oh. What do Patricia and Arun think of the film with its mixed reception?
