In this episode of DreamMachine, Patricia and Arun discuss about the 2010 DreamWorks animated film, How to Train Your Dragon based on the book series of the same name by Cressida Cowell. The story is about a young Viking named Hiccup who lives in a village where they slay dragons. When he captures a rare dragon to kill it, he decides to befriend it and name it Toothless. Hiccup studies various dragons to find weaknesses in time for his tribe's initiation as a dragon slayer. He starts gaining respect from his friends and his father who always saw him as a disappointment. Will Hiccup reveal his dragon loving ways or will he continue his facade?  

When the movie premiered in theaters, it became critically acclaimed by critics and viewers which would be the starting point of a series of sequels and a TV series on Cartoon Network, later on Netflix. How well does the first film hold up almost a decade later? Listen and find out.
