In this episode of DreamMachine, Patricia and Arun discuss about the 2006 DreamWorks animated film, Over the Hedge, based on the comic strip series of the same name by Michael Fry and T. Lewis. The plot focuses on a raccoon named RJ who accidentally causes a bear's food to be rolled out of the highway. He promises the bear that he will replace all of his food within one week. He heads to a suburban neighborhood where a group of animals need to find food to survive, but are afraid of the humans. RJ convinces them that the neighborhood has a lot of food and tells them to gather all of it without letting them know that he's stealing it secretly for the bear. However, some people learn about the animals sneaking in so they call an animal exterminator to get rid of them. Will RJ get all the food before his week ends? When this movie premiered, it made $330 million dollars with mixed to negative reviews. What do Patricia and Arun think of the film? Listen and find out.
