In this episode of DreamMachine, Patricia and Arun discuss about the 2005 DreamWorks animated film, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. Based on the Wallace & Gromit shorts, the movie is about an inventor named Wallace and his dog named Gromit who have a job of catching wild rabbits to protect people's gardens in time for a giant vegetable contest. Wallace uses a mind control device to get them to lose interest on veggies and it works at first. However, things turn for the worse when a giant were-rabbit is causing trouble on the town and it's up to Gromit to stop it. Who is the were-rabbit? Will it be defeated before the town and its veggies disappear?  When the movie premiered in theaters, it gained $192 million dollars on a $30 million dollar budget and had won the Oscars for Best Animated Feature. It was the 2nd DreamWorks film that distributed an Aardman Animations feature, but it was the first time that Wallace & Gromit was adapted to a movie. How well does it hold up today? Listen and find out.
