Anna Quindlen became a star at the New York Times writing about motherhood and\\xa0 what it\\u2019s like to go to the supermarket dragging little kids along, an event she said should be included in the Olympics. After being awarded a Pulitzer Prize for Commentary for her Op-ed column\\xa0Public and Private.,\\xa0Quindlen announced that she was quitting her job at the Times to become a full time novelist.
