Andrew McCarthy was still a teenager when he acted in his first film and became\\xa0a member of what\\u2019s called the Brat Pack. That\\u2019s the group of actors including\\xa0Demi Moore and Molly Ringwald who starred in 1980s films like\\xa0Pretty in Pink\\xa0and\\xa0St. Elmo\\u2019s Fire.\\xa0There were a few bumps along the road like drinking too much\\xa0alcohol and taking drugs before McCarthy became a travel writer. McCarthy also\\xa0directs episodes of TV series like\\xa0Orange is the New Black. And he walked 500\\xa0miles across Spain with his teenage son, an adventure he writes about in a new\\xa0book called\\xa0Walking with Sam.\\xa0\\u201cNow What?\\u201d is produced with the help of Steve Zimmer, Lucy Little and Cameryn Yarber.
