Alysia is a 28-year-old adventurer who has a never-ending curiosity to explore! It’s like she has this unquenchable thirst for new experiences that unleashes her creativity in unique ways.

On this episode, Alysia and I talk about her life - her background, what keeps her busy now, and what keeps her up and running. This energetic lady is one to brighten up the gloomiest of days! Seriously.. You should hear her laugh! It’s absolutely contagious!

I’m choosing to move on to something else, and that’s okay.

Although she seems to have an unlimited supply of energy and happiness, Alysia admits that she does need her alone time to recharge and process the happenings of the day. She tells me about how important it is to have time for yourself, a time to be alone too.

Alysia is also a firm believer in making your own choices, just listening to what your body and mind tells you, and just going for it. She aims to live her life to the fullest, and then look back with no regrets. She’s all for adventure and excitement!

What would you want to do to light your fire?

***

Habit of thought and action:

“Being clear in managing my boundaries - not spreading myself too thin, and realizing when I start to do that.”

I don’t want to spend any time in places I don’t want to be in.

Greatest area of strength:

“My energy.”

If you’re not feeling energetic, is it because you have a bunch of things you have to unravel first?

What does success mean to you?
“Success is feeling good about the choices I’m making and being happy with where I’m at.”

What does balance mean to you?

“Balance is awareness about what my body needs, my mind needs, my relationships need, and being aware of what I can contribute to all of the things that are important to me - and making sure that I have pieces for all those parts.”

What do you do to get in the zone?

“I love structure and creating routine. Also, exercise does it for me.”

How do you recharge your batteries?

“Yoga, working out, and cooking. Those are my ways of relaxing.”

What do people need to stop doing if they want success in their lives?

“Stop self-judgment. Work on yourself and realize that you are just as good as everybody else and we’re all on the same level.”

I’m excited to see where the adventure of this summer will take me.
