Since building relationships in the body of Christ is very important for our development and maturity in Christ, it is vital that we develop a safe environment that encourages and invites people to develop relationships with their brothers and sisters. Jesus exhorts us to love each other in the same way He loves us, and we are exhorted by the apostle Paul, in Ephesians, to “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” Two practical ways we do this: 1. By making sure that our speech about each other is honoring. 2. By being intentional and diligent to work through any relational conflict that might arise.
