It left 14 people dead and 22 others injured.
Mass shooting and an attempted bombing.
Perpetrators were a married couple from the city of Redlands, California (only about a 13 min commute via the I-10 W).
Their names were Syed Rizwan Farook (28 years old) and Tashfeen Malik (29 years old); Farook was a U.S. born citizen of Pakistani decent and Malik was a Pakistani-born green card holder.
They targeted a San Bernardino County Department of Public Health training event and Christmas party.There were about 80 employees in attendance inside the rented banquet room that was attacked.
Both perpetrators were killed in a shootout with police.
