In episode 2 of Season 5; we are headed to White Springs, Florida to discuss the murder of 16-year-old Damien Kornegay by his own 15-year-old sister; Ariel. Within this home; there were 4 children and two parents. The parents would often abuse the children – most notably, the 15-year-old, Misty “Ariel” Kornegay. The parents would often lock Ariel up, beat her, not allow her to eat, etc. While the parents were out – they left the 16-year-old (Damien) in charge of his three younger siblings (Ariel – 15, Nicole – 11, and the toddler). What happened that day is something you see in the movies, but it actually occurred in real life in 2015.
