In episode 10 of Season 3, we will discuss Diane Odell. Born on 1953; who, is responsible for the death of four babies\u2026her own babies. Her case is referred to as \u201cThe Babies in Boxes Murder Case\u201d. From that tag alone; I\u2019m sure you can determine where her babies were found. But, do you know how long they were there?
Diane ended up giving birth to a total of twelve babies\u2026eight of which were given the chance to grow into functioning members of society. The four babies who weren\u2019t so lucky were carried around in boxes from home to home and from state to state over the course of at least 10 years.
She would have kept this up had she not defaulted on her storage rent. The storage unit was sold off and the buyer found the babies in the boxes. But why these three babies? Why did three babies die and eight babies live? In this episode, you\u2019ll find out what Diane told the courts about the demise of her children.
Diane was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison, in 2004.
